Oh look, another two verticals launched today! First, there’s BuzzFeed Shift. To quote the introductory post, “It’s for women! (And dudes! Kind of!)” Certainly at least 50% of the global population. You should check it out, regardless of gender. Also, there’s BuzzFeed Sports. They promise that they “will not post pictures of a quarterback’s penis. Unless they’re really impressive.” That’s a good promise! (I mean, “impressive” is a sort of subjective criterion, so maybe there will be tons of junk pics. Who knows!) And, of course, we’re still doing the whole thing re: cats.

We’re looking for people with a sharp eye for viral media and a keen understanding of the social web to work in our Soho office for the next few months. We will pay you in money! The ideal candidate will have a combination of skills ranging from exceptional writing, a little HTML knowledge and a super keen eye for trends in pop culture, fashion, technology, music, and politics. Video/audio editing or advanced social media skills are a plus.  Hours: 15-20 hours a week, times negotiable.
